speaker magnets
Can strong speaker magnets affect LCD monitors?
I want to buy a LCD monitor for pc and put it between my two 12″ich speakers these are not PC speakers they are big PA sound system speakers (not right next to each other about 1 and 1/2 meters apart each side) but am concerned that they will ruin the screen can anyone help or have any other suggestions?
I dont see that magnetic fields effect LCD monitors they same way as a CRT, however i always take the side of caution when my hard earned money is at risk! Perhaps since P.A. speakers usaully have a minimum opearating wattage around 1 watt rms, which is directly in front of your face, you might consider more realistic, smaller speakers for this purpose and moving the sound system speakers, just a thought…
