Do magnets damage refridgerators?
I was told that having magnets on my fridge would cause the motor to over work and burn it out. Is this true?
As long as the magnets are on the door. The door is insulated and would have very little effect (if any) on the motor. If it is the type of motor with magnetic brushes it could be effected if you put a powerful magnet on the housing of the motor. But, being as far away as the door. No. Now rubbing the magnets up and down on the door could scratch or rub the door, but that would be the only damage.
